Advantage Civil Design Group, LLP (ACDG) is was established in 2004 and has remained locally owned and operated from Henderson, Nevada.

ACDG has completed numerous land development and public works projects within all entities in southern Nevada. Mr. Manning was a former employee of the Public Works Department at the City of Henderson and City of North Las Vegas. Mr. Doty has a background in Land Surveying in addition to his civil engineering experience. ACDG understands the responsibilities placed on public and private sector leaders.

ACDG has generated and reviewed hundreds of Pre-design, drainage study, and improvement plans submittals.  ACDG previously acted as a subcontractor to the City of Henderson and currently for City of Boulder City for review of land development drainage studies and improvement plans.  ACDG Principals were also responsible for inspection and maintenance of the City of Henderson’s Regional Flood Control facilities through the Maintenance Work Program (MWP).  Management of the MWP required allocation of manpower and financial resources to areas impacted by recent flooding, repair of damaged or vandalized facilities, and revisions of facilities to allow for increased safety and easier maintenance.

Our staff has completed designs for many major Public Works facilities, both publicly and privately funded.  Examples include large drainage facilities within the Las Vegas Valley Master Plan Update, transportation design of arterial roadways 100 feet wide down to commercial access ways 24 feet wide, publicly funded parks (Heritage Park, River Mountain Loop Trail), wastewater collection infrastructure, potable water distribution lines from 16-inch ductile iron pipe down to service laterals, and a 1 MG water storage tank.  ACDG also has experience in the City of Henderson with Local Improvement Districts (LID), and with providing documentation of credits required for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
